MacKenzie Galloway

As film student and conscious creator, I have a passion for telling stories. I use my creations to not only give back to my community but to raise my vibration and wisdom and share that consciousness with others. I make it a priority to tell stories that are not often represented, which in turn increases consciousness and spreads awareness.

As a Detroit, Michigan native, I was bread around hard work and success. Writing my first book at six years old, and becoming a broadcast journalist at eleven years old, I have always had a deep passion for telling stories. Whether you are shopping my creations, watching my films and meditations, listening to my podcast or reading my articles, you are guaranteed to deepen your consciousness.

I received an MFA in Screenwriting and Filmmaking at Emerson College in Los Angeles and Boston, and received a Bachelors in French Communications Media with a concentration in Broadcast Journalism and a double major in Bio-Cultural Anthropology at American University. I am also a Cass Technical High School Alumna. I work on Capitol Hill as the Digital Media Manager for Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib, and run my own film production company and fashion store, Conscious Creations LLC. I have traveled and lived all over the world, everywhere from Malta to Morocco to Ecuador to Iceland. I also volunteer for a local Girl Scout Troop in D.C., and sit on the selection board for the American Film Institute. I have a passion for telling intercontinental stories of those whose voices are otherwise silenced.
